We have different preferences just like on how we’d want to take travelling as it is. There are those who really don’t enjoy the whole trip except for the rushing of the car’s engine and the whooping 200+ mph speed. But, there are those like me who wants to enjoy seeing what they are able to pass by, especially those places they haven’t explored yet.

But hey! Going fast and enjoying the scenic beauty of the roadside can be managed using one road car. Yes, you’ve read it right and isn’t this a great news?

Convertibles had always been the best choice for travelers wanting to appreciate the beauty nature can offer and even of man-made creations. So, to even up the wants of different people, Ferrari had been into innovating convertible road cars so that it can take the driver into high speed and extreme driving performance.

And, if you are one of those who would either want to drive fast or not depending on the mood and the circumstances then the car you’re about to get a glimpse of is just right for you. It isn’t the newest prancing horse in the stable, but it serves its purpose even after a decade of being in the market. Yes, it’s a decade old model but it can still give you a great driving pleasure as is always with the Ferrari cars.

This car, the 360 Spyder is Ferrari’s 20th convertible and is the best convertible during its day regarding from its engineering to its design. Due to its adaptation of the Formula 1 concept, it is even the most advance in terms of the performance.

It has the heart of a rear mid-mounted V8 engine pumping out a maximum power of 400 hp at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of 373 Nm at 4750 rpm. It has a total displacement of 3586.20 cc and a compression ratio of 11:1. It has five valves per cylinder with twin overhead camshafts per bank. It uses a dry sump lubrication system, a Bosch Motronic ME7.3 electronic fuel injection/static electronic ignition system, a rear and front suspensions with independent unequal-length wishbones, coil springs over telescopic shock absorbers and anti-roll bar and a rack and pinion steering system.

It is a two seater belinetta using either a six-speed manual transmission or an electro-hydraulic F1transmission depending on what the client wants.

On its performance, it can speed up from zero to 100km/h in a whooping 4.6 seconds and getting over to a speed of 290 mph is made possible.

Its exterior is well imagined. They made a way of having the hood automatically folds away into the engine bay. That way, it highlights the purity of the lines and curves. It is then creatively designed further by bringing about the classical two fairings in the bodywork to the rear of the seats. Two roll bars are then paired to it to complete the optimum safety offered to the driver and the passenger.

Nonetheless, this would be great deal of an investment if you’d want both driving at fast pane and savoring the roadside beauty. It is more or less a two way car, not just because it is a convertible but because you can basically hit the busy day with a fast speed or get really at peace with nature on your drive to a holiday retreat or even a weekend escape.

You can even take a great deal on used Ferrari’s for sale on a very reasonable price. You can take on a pre-owned car without worrying of its maintenance by taking a close look and check up on every detail of the car.

But, either way you’d take it, you can never go wrong with the Ferrari 360 Spyder.

It will give you the ultimate pleasure of both the speeding up during busy days roof’s up or the peaceful get-away of a stress free weekend roof’s down.
