Once again, Ferrari proves to be giving hundred percent of its best and its passion on producing another one of a kind gran turismo in the image of the 575M Maranello. 575M Maranello, Ferrari’s 2002 entry to the growing supercar world, displays the advanced technology in its time and bragging its engineers’ brainpower in creating a car that would struck people who’d see it and those who’d be able to drive.

It branded the peak of one of Ferrari’s most successful supercar designs – the front-mounted V12 engined berlinetta – following the prestige of the most successful Ferrari cars in the history. It even displays the significant innovation on the 550 Maranello which is also one of the best supercars produced in Ferrari’s history and is already more than a decade old.

From its name itself, you can see the major advancement done on the 575M Maranello. 575 is an abbreviation of its total displacement 5750 cc which is of course 250 cc more than the previous 550 Maranello. And the M next to it means “Modificata” or in English  Modified highlighting the fact that major modification had been made to make room for technological innovations on the old 550 Maranello.

575M Maranello showing off its sexy side

From the 458 hp maximum power and 569Nm maximum torque, the 575M had a noteworthy increase of up to 515 hp at 7250 rpm and 588 Nm at 5250 rpm. It can now perform a raging speed of up to 325 km/h and the ride from zero to 100km/h only takes 4.25 seconds on a manual 6-speed plus reverse gearbox. Why highlight “manual”? That is simply because, unlike the 550 Maranello, 575M can have an electro-hydraulic F1 6 speed plus reverse transmissions. It is left as an option for drivers who’d want extreme driving set to the next level. The use of the F1 type gearbox is first introduced on a V12 Ferrari road car on the 575M.

Its tubular frame is designed for enhancing car’s aerodynamics and overall performance. Air intakes had been upgraded to meet the greater demands of the engine. Air intakes in the all new front end of the car have different shape and sizes while the air intakes on the bonnet had been resized and became larger compared to the 550.

Light clusters have also been improved with color-coded headlamp bodies enveloped in grey and further associated with                 the xenon technology for dipped beam.

Aerodynamics is greatly enhanced with respect to constant vertical load on its wheels, slightest sensitivity to side winds and of course least possible drag. Its underbody is carefully being analyzed and upgraded to balance the increased need for cooling and insensitivity to changes in ride set-up amidst introducing raised channels generating loads. Air flow inside the car is also increased with the increased of demand for cooling.

extravagant supercar raging with an overall modification

Paramount optimization on the underbody is done on the air flow around the wheels together with the introduction of small fairing elements both on front and rear part of the car.

Its interior isn’t just redesigned for luxury. It was improved to make it more sporty and functional. Dials are grouped together in one single pod in front of the driver. Seats are all new and made more comfortable. Functionality is found all over the interior surface from the redesigned dashboard and center tunnel, additional storage compartments, to the smallest details such as the control panel of the climate system which now includes other toggle switches and more improved graphics.

The bottom line is that, either way we look at this car it had lived with what its name says – modification. And with an overall modification just like this, it won’t make you regret purchasing this model. And if you are a little short on money, there is always another way of owning a greatsupercar as this one. You can either go for a cheap 575M Maranello for sale or used 575M Maranello for sale.

Either way, this car means superb buy and uncompromised driving experience. Don’t let an opportunity of owning this car pass your hands. Buy it now and you will never regret it.
